First Mutual Properties Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Temba Ruvingo and Ms Sharon Wekwete as independent, non-executive members of the board.
Mr Ruvingo is a senior level Finance Executive with extensive experience in management, leadership and working with various stakeholders. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Accounting Science, as well as a Master of Business Leadership (MBL) from UNISA. A Registered Assessor and a Registered Public Auditor, Mr Ruvingo has an in-depth knowledge of financial management and the local taxation framework acquired through years of experience working in both private and public accounting.
Ms Wekwete is a lawyer and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Master of Science (MSc) in Development Studies and is a candidate for the Master of Laws (LLM) programme in Economic Law through UNISA. Ms Wekwete is a highly versatile legal and international development professional with experience in policy and advocacy, strategy, institutional reform, data protection and program management. She has held a variety of managerial and consultancy positions both locally and abroad for private sector, governmental and non-governmental organisations, including the World Bank.
The Board wishes Mr Ruvingo and Ms Wekwete every success in their new roles.
RESIGNATION
The Board also wishes to announce that Ms Ruth B Ncube, a non-independent member of the Board, has tendered her resignation as a director of First Mutual Properties, having been a member of the Board since September 2010.
The Board conveys its sincere thanks and appreciation to Ms Ncube for her dedication, hard work and invaluable contribution to the company.
